The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) baseball team sends off the seniors with a 10-0 non-conference win against the City College of New York at Gregg Alfano Field on Wednesday afternoon.

Key Players:

• Junior Anselmo Joya was 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and a triple finishing with four RBIs and three runs scored

• Sophomore Dom Crema went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs and a run

• Senior John Lynch was 2-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored

How it happened:

• The Golden Eagles got out to an early lead with four runs in the bottom of the first. Joya sent an RBI double in the left-center gap with Lynch following with an RBI single to center. Crema then belted a two-run home run over the left-field fence

• After two scoreless innings, St. Joseph's loaded the bases with two out setting up a three-RBI triple off the rightfield wall extending the lead to 7-0

• Lynch and Crema combined to knock in three more runs in the bottom on the sixth putting the hosts into double figures, 10-0

Notes:

• SJLI starter senior Nicholas Dell Italia was credited with the win tossing two shutout innings with two strikeouts

• Senior Sean Brody provided an inning of scoreless relief with two Ks

• CCNY's Ethan Lopez took the loss allowing four runs on five hits in one inning
