Drew led early in set three, 6-1, holding an advantage throughout most of the set until back-to-back Drew attack errors tied the score at 19. The two sides went point-for-point before four unanswered Ranger points gave them a 25-22 win

The Rangers led early on in set four when a service ace from D'Ambrosio served an ace knotting the score at 15. Both sides traded points down the stretch with Drew coming away with the 25-22 win

SJLI led early on in the decisive fifth set, but Drew rallied and was first to eight, 8-6, and for the third-straight set the teams went back and forth and saw the Rangers ahead 14-13 when DU's Marissa Guajardo sent a serve that was initially called out but was overturned for an ace and a 15-13 win.
