How it happened

• Sophomore Madi Beatty and freshman Amanda Andree defeated YU's Shira Adler and Gabrielle Resnick in #1 doubles 7-5, the Maccabees pulled out 6-0 wins in the #2 and #3 flights to claim a 1-0 lead after doubles play 

• Goodyear dropped her first set to Sarah Leiderman 6-2, but rallied back for the win 7-6, 6-0, 7-5

• The Maccabees went on to sweep the rest of singles play to take the 6-1 win
