The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's tennis team suffered a non-conference loss, 7-0, to the Pratt Institute on Sunday afternoon.

How it happened

  • The Cannoneers swept all three doubles flights, 6-1, taking an early 1-0 match lead

  • Sophomore Madi Beatty forced a tie break in the opening set of the #3 flight, 7-6 (7-3), however, Pratt's Siya Sawhney's earned the win with a 6-1 victory in the second set

  • The visitors completed the shutout with wins through the rest of singles play
