The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team earned first place at their home Tri-Match on Saturday afternoon, finishing with a strong overall performance on a challenging course.

Top Performers:

• Chase Zere paced the Golden Eagles and captured medalist honors with a round of 72 (+1).
• Bailey Meyer and Dominick Glatz tied for second overall, each carding a 79 (+8).
• Nick Gentile recorded an 82 (+11) to place fifth.
• Dennis Lynch Jr. rounded out the team scoring with an 87 (+16).

How It Happened:

• St. Joseph's posted a team score of 318 (+34) to take home first place in the three-team event.
• Manhattanville finished second with a combined team total of 341 (+57), while SUNY Purchase placed third.
• Consistent mid-70s and low-80s rounds across the lineup highlighted the Golden Eagles' depth early in the season.

Notes:

• St. Joseph's claimed four of the top five individual spots in the final standings.
