The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's soccer will advance to the Skyline Conference semi-finals as they defeated No. 6 Old Westbury in the first round at home Saturday afternoon.

- Jack Pulisic- Led the Golden Eagles with one goal, one assist, six shots, and three shots on goal.
- Devin Seara- Recorded one goal on three shots on goal.
- Jhon Garces- Tallied one assist.
- Dean Burchard- Made five saves and allowed zero goals in the full 90 minutes.
How It Happened
- St. Joseph's- L.I. had a strong offensive half, leading 7-0 in shots in the first half, but were denied by Old Westbury's goalkeeper, making five saves in the half.
- Later on in the second half, sophomore Devin Seara scored for the Golden Eagles in the 51st minute, assisted by sophomore Jack Pulisic.
- Pulisic then scored in the 75th minute, assisted by Jhon Garces, which resulted in the 2-0 victory for SJLI.
Notes
- The Golden Eagles led in shots 15-6, 9-5 on goal.
- SJLI also led in corner kicks with 11-6.
- The Panthers's goalkeeper recorded seven saves.
- St. Joseph's (L.I.) received two yellow cards while Old Westbury received one.
