New York, NY| Senior outside hitter Luciana D'Ambrosio and junior middle hitter Nina Vanderhoof of the St. Joseph's University (L.I.) women's volleyball team were named to the Skyline Conference All-Conference Second Team as announced by the Conference on Tuesday afternoon.
D'Ambrosio leads the Golden Eagles with 213 kills, averaging 2.63 kills per set. The senior recorded 194 digs, 2.40 digs per set, 7 total blocks, 31 service aces, and 11 assists.
Vanderhoof leads the conference with a .290 hitting percentage and 202 kills in 71 sets. The junior tallies 12 service aces, six assists, 98 digs, and 23 total blocks.
St. Joseph's enters the Skyline Conference Post Season (16-9 overall, 8-3 Skyline), as the # 3 seed and head to the #2 seed Merchant Marine for the semi-finals on Thursday, November 13 at 7:00PM.
