How It Happened
- Penn State Brandywine opened the game with a 3-pointer, but St. Joseph's fought back with a layup from Maxwell.
- Both teams went back-and-forth for the rest of the first half, with both teams only having small leads, and three-ties.
- Despite the back-and-forth, the Nittany Lions had more of a scoring advantage, ending the first half 42-25.
- Early in the second half, the Golden Eagles started the scoring field with two good layups from Todd.
- Brandywine answered back with a 3-pointer and two free throws, but shortly after, Maxwell recorded a 3-pointer.
- Both teams started to slow down throughout the second half, with short scoring leads from both sides the most being five points from AJ Espoito and Maxwell.
- With five seconds left, Kenny Rodriguez made a layup to make the score 70-60, with that Penn State Brandywine took the win.
