The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) women's basketball team broke the NCAA three-point attempts record (85) across all three divisions in a 73-26 Skyline Conference win over SUNY Old Westbury in the Danzi Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles held the Panthers to just two points, a pair of free throws from Caitlyn Subero, in the first quarter

SJLI put up 20 points, 18 of which came via the three. Lebron finished with nine points

St. Joseph's extended their lead in the second quarter outscoring Old Westbury 17-6 and took a 37-8 advantage into halftime. Freshman Madelyn Barone was 2 of 3 for a team-best six points in the quarter

The third frame saw more of the same with the hosts again scoring 17 points with OW finishing with eight. Capone was 2 of 4 from beyond the arc and went 2-for-4 at the free throw line. Charlotte Twohig grabbed four rebounds and dished two assists
