The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's volleyball team was swept in a non-conference match by Kean University in the Danzi Center on Wednesday night.

How it happened:

The opened frame was played closely featuring 12 tied scores and seven lead changes and neither side gained an advantage larger than five. The teams traded points in the back half of the set before three straight kills broke a 22-22 tie giving Kean the 25-22 win. Foglia finished with four kills on six attempts

Set two saw the Cougars go on a 7-0 run putting their lead in double digits midway through, 17-7. Kean held St. Joseph's to just seven points down the stretch taking a 2-0 match lead with a 25-14 win

The visitors claimed the first four points in set three. SJLI answered with three straight, but the Cougars responded with five unanswered taking a 9-3 lead. Kean would continue to roll not allowing the Golden Eagles to get within five for the remainder of the set en route to a 25-15 win
