The Golden Eagles hit .444 as a team in a 25-13 win in set one. Luke MacPherson finished with four kills on six attempts with Hank Foglia pitching in three kills and three blocks

Set two was played a bit closer with the Golden Eagles holding a slight 12-10 lead. The hosts went on a 12-7 run to go ahead 23-17 before going on to win 25-19. Cole Violi had a set-best six kills on seven chances

The teams stayed close in set three before a 4-1 SJLI run gave them a 15-10 lead. The Bears chipped away getting to within two on a couple of occasions, but a service error gave the Golden Eagles the 25-22 win

St. Joseph's resumes Skyline Conference action when they travel to Sarah Lawrence College for a tri-match with Purchase College on Saturday, March 15th. The Golden Eagles will face the Panthers at 12:00 pm before taking on the Gryphons at 2:00 pm.
