The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's volleyball team earned a Skyline Conference sweep against Manhattanville University in their final regular season game in the Danzi Center on Thursday night.

Records:

St. Joseph's (L.I.), 18-6, 16-0 Skyline; Manhattanville, 11-15, 9-5 Skyline

Top Performers:

• Senior Logan Meyer finished with a match-best 13 kills while hitting at a .522 clip and collected five digs

• Junior Hank Foglia added nine kills on 11 tries and put up two blocks

• Setter Will Kropp tossed 38 assists with graduate student Tyler Anderson picking up a match-high eight digs

• Joe Gandarillas of Manhattanville finished with a team-best nine kills, with Mason Moon recording 27 assists

How it happened:

• The Golden Eagles took a quick match lead with a 25-14 win in set one, hitting .545 as a team. Meyer recorded four kills on seven attempts, with Foglia and Anderson adding three kills apiece

• St. Joseph's held a slight 14-13 lead in set two, but an 11-3 run in favor of the hosts led to a 25-16 win.

• SJLI went on to hit .692 and complete the sweep with a 25-12 win in the third set. Meyer led all players with six kills

Notes:

• As a team, St. Joseph's (L.I.) hit .565 while holding Manhattanville to .120

• The Golden Eagles collected 32 digs and put up 5.5 total blocks. The Valiants finished with 16 digs and two total blocks

St. Joseph's travels to #3 Springfield College for a tri-match with #2 Southern Virginia on Saturday, March 29th. The Golden Eagles will face the Knights at 3:15 pm before taking on the Pride at 5:30 pm.
