The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team extended its unbeaten start to the 2025 season with a commanding 3-0 victory over York College (NY) on Saturday afternoon at the Danzi Center. The Golden Eagles cruised past the Cardinals in straight sets (25-7, 25-11, 25-6) to improve to 5-0 overall.
St. Joseph's was dominant on both sides of the net, hitting .403 as a team while limiting York to a -.119 percentage. The Golden Eagles finished with 38 kills, 33 assists, and 12 service aces in the sweep.

Top Performers

Nina Vanderhoof led the attack with six kills on a .625 hitting percentage.
Alison Tsororos and Sarah Hansen each registered five kills, both hitting at a .500 clip.
Iya Tabada added six kills and four digs, while Isabella Juliano and Olivia Baumann chipped in with efficient three-kill performances.
Samantha Lund paced the offense with 12 assists and an ace, and Sarah Meininger handed out eight assists and served up two aces.
Defensively, Brooke Donahue anchored the back row with eight digs.
