How It Happened
- St. Joseph's opened up the game with free throws by Barone and Lebron.
- Shortly after Yeshiva scored their first basket of the game, but SJLI used defensive pressure to open the game on an 8–2 run.
- Scoring from Barone and Dellaporta helped build an 18–8 advantage after one quarter.
- The Golden Eagles continued to control the pace in the second quarter, extending the lead with balanced scoring.
- Lebron converted at the free-throw line and three-pointers from Vitale helped to keep the momentum.
- The Macabees knocked down a three-pointer late in the half, but the Golden Eagles took a 39–23 lead into halftime.
- St. Joseph's opened the third quarter with another strong run, pushing the lead past 15.
- Eichner connected on back-to-back baskets and SJLI capitalized on turnovers to stretch the advantage, leading 58-36 at the end of the third quarter.
- St. Joseph's maintained control throughout the final period, with Alexandra Madrigal, Williams, and Hansen scoring inside as the paint.
