How it happened:
- Swarthmore took command of the game early, scoring the first three goals of the game.
- The Garnets's defense prevent St. Joseph's from making any goals in the first quarter, ending the quarter 7-0.
- Darienzo scored the first goal for the Golden Eagles at 9:45 in tne second quarter on a man-up opportunity.
- The Garnet would take a six point scoring run throughout the second quarter.
- Ippolito added her first goal for SJLI with 59 seconds left to end the half 13-2.
- Swarthmore scored four more goals throughout the third.
- Ippolito scored two goals at the end of the third quarter to bring the Golden Eagles to four points, one goal was assisted by Stobla.
- The Garnet scored the only three goals in the fourth quarter to secure the victory over SJLI.
