The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) softball team dropped to TCNJ, 16-5, in the final game of the Fast Pitch Dreams Classic Tuesday afternoon.

Key Players:

• Junior Kristen Tellier led the Golden Eagles with two hits and one run scored.
• Junior Jacqueline Flannery and senior Antonia Busa both totaled two hits and one run scored.
• Junior Alexandria LaBarba totaled one run scored and one RBI.
• Freshman Gianna Brown, freshman Jessica Lommel, and sophomore Sarah Murphy all recorded one RBI each.
• Junior Emma Rondinella recorded four strikeouts for the Golden Eagles.

How it happened:

• TCNJ took the lead early by scoring one run in the top of the first inning.
• St. Joseph's answered back in the bottom of the first with Tellier scoring the first run for the Golden Eagles.
• The Lions then scored eight runs to take control of the game and the lead 9-1.
• SJLI made a comeback in the bottom of the third, scoring four runs from Flannery, Tellier, Busa, and Labarba to slightly close the gap 9-5.
• TCNJ scored seven runs and held the Golden Eagles from scoring for the rest of the game, closing the game 16-5 in six innings.
