The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) men's lacrosse team takes down Anna Maria, 19-5, to close out non-conference play at home on Wednesday afternoon.
Top performers:

How it happened:
- St. Joseph's put the first point on the scoreboard with a goal from Herrera, in which Anna Maria answered back with a goal, making the score 1-1.
- The two teams went back-and-forth with goals, until a man-up goal from Schildt started the scoring run for the Golden Eagles.Henderson and Stubba scored to end the first quarter 5-2.
- A man-up goal from Stubba and goals from Herrera and Brown kept SJLI in the lead throughout the second quarter 8-2, until the Amcats scored two goals to come back slowly.
- Three more goals from Herrera, Stubba, and Schildt closed the half 11-4 in St. Joseph's favor.
- Herrera, Stubba, and Schildt netted the only three goals made in the third quarter,keeping the lead 14-4.
- The Golden Eagles scored five goals compared to the one goal made by Anna Maria to secure the 19-5 victory.

- Freshman John Marino recorded seven saves while allowing five goals and collected five ground balls and four caused turnovers.
