How it happened:
- St. Joseph's Metzler scored the first goal of the game late in the first quarter to make the score 1-0.
- Mount Saint Vincent found the back of the net twice in the second quarter to get in the lead 2-1 at the end of the half.
- The Dolphins opened the second half scoring right away, but Metzler netted two goals to tie the game 3-3.
- UMSV took the lead once more by scoring one goal midway in the fourth quarter, but back-to-back goals from DArienzo and Ippolito got the Golden Eagles back in front.
- Despite Mount Saint Vincent netting one more goal on a free position shot, SJLI took the 6-5 victory, winning their fifth conference game.
