After stranding runners in each of the first two innings, the Rams finally broke through with three runs in the top of the third. Ritchie Heyder knocked in two runs with a double down the left field line before coming into to score on Tyler DiRocco's single through the right side

The Golden Eagles got a run back in the bottom of the fourth with John Lynch doubled to right with one out and came in on single from Joya

Farmingdale regained their three-run lead in the fifth when Peter Manger's pick off attempt rolled down the right field line allowed Heyder to score

The Rams added to their lead with a run in the seventh when Daniel Deutsch snuck an RBI single down the right field line

St. Joseph's loaded the bases in the bottom half of the seventh, but DiRocco was called on to face freshman Joe Thatcher and got him swinging to end the threat
