How it happened:
-
After leaving the bases loaded in the top of the third, a couple of Ramapo infield singles and a walk loaded them again with one out in the top of the fourth. A wild throw on a double play attempt allowed two runners to score before a Perri pick off and fly out to center ended the inning, 2-0

The Roadrunners added a run in the top of the fifth via the home run off the bat of Zach Novakowski
-
Hackal and Thatcher both singled in the bottom of the sixth inning, followed by a towering three-run shot well over the right field fence by Lynch, which evened the score at three
-
A pair of unearned runs with two outs in the top of the eighth put Ramapo ahead 5-3 before a grand slam from John Higgins in the top of the ninth opened it up to 9-3
-
Jesse Swartout went deep later in the inning, moving the score to 12-3
-
Lynch led off the bottom of the ninth with his second home run of the day, but the Golden Eagles were unable to push any more runs across, ultimately falling, 12-4
