Result:

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's golf team finished fourth out of eight teams competing in the Old Westbury Invitational on Friday.  

Top performers:

  • Bailey Meyer finished tied for sixth place with a score of 77
  • Dom Glatz and Nick Gentile tied for 15th with a score of 83
  • Chaze Zere ended the day tied for 20th place and a score of 86

How it happened:

  • The Golden Eagles finished in fourth place with a team score of 329 (+41), eight strokes behind Mt. St. Mary's, which took third place with a score of 321 (+33)
  • Farmingdale St. placed first with a team score of 285 (-3) 

Notes:

  • Meyer finished with 11 pars and three birdies in the round
