Result

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Fred Pavlich Invitational, hosted by Bard College on Saturday morning.

Top Performers

• Junior Ryan Steinberg paced the men with a fourth-place finish in 29:44.9 over the 8k course.
• Senior Jimmy Mintel followed in fifth (29:49.5), while Anthony Flaccomio (30:02.6), Evan Skoblicki (30:08.3), and Ren Seubert (30:24.7) all finished inside the top 10.
• Freshman Elizabeth Kurka once again led the Golden Eagles on the women's side, finishing 11th overall in the 6k with a time of 27:40.9.

How It Happened

• The men placed first overall in the 16-team field, scoring just 33 points with all five scorers inside the top 10. St. Joseph's topped SUNY Cobleskill (80) and Hudson Valley CC (88) for the team title.
• On the women's side, the Golden Eagles finished eighth overall with 179 points. Among Skyline Conference competitors at the meet, SJLI placed second.
