CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT QUEENSBOROUGH INVITATIONAL, MEN WITH SECOND-PLACE FINISH

Result – Women's Race (5000m)

The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's cross country team placed 15th overall at the Queensborough Invitational with a five-runner average time of 30:15.

Top Performers

  • Elizabeth Kurka led the Golden Eagles, finishing 15th with a time of 23:29.1 (7:33 pace).
  • Madison Mattera (62nd, 27:54.8) and Giselle Estrada (75th, 28:47.5) provided strong middle-pack finishes.
  • Evangeline Pierre-Louis (127th, 33:17.2) and Petra Cline (145th, 37:49.9) rounded out the scoring five.
 

Result – Men's Race (8000m)

The Golden Eagles' men's team earned a 2nd-place finish out of 20 scoring teams with a five-runner average of 31:36.
