How it happened:
- St. Joseph's jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when Thatcher launched a three-run home run to center field to put the Golden Eagles ahead 3-0
- Bridgewater State responded in the second inning with a two-run home run from Cam Beltramini to cut the deficit to 3-2
- The Golden Eagles extended their advantage in the fourth inning with three runs, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Amarando and an RBI triple from Margolies to make it 6-2
- Paul McNally added a solo home run in the fifth inning to push the lead to 7-2 before St. Joseph's plated two more runs in the sixth to take a 9-2 advantage
- Bridgewater State rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth to trim the lead to 9-6, but the Golden Eagles answered in the seventh with a two-RBI double from Hackal to stretch the lead back to five runs
- The Bears added a run in the final inning, but St. Joseph's held on to secure the 11-7 victory

- Bridgewater State jumped ahead early with a three-run first inning, highlighted by an RBI double from Ryan Flaherty and an RBI single from Joshua Selander to take a 3-0 lead
- The Bears added another run in the fifth inning when Selander delivered his second RBI single of the game to extend the lead to 4-0
- St. Joseph's broke through in the sixth inning when Bunce walked and eventually scored on an RBI groundout from Preston Gerena to make it 4-1
- The Golden Eagles threatened in the seventh with a baserunner, but Bridgewater State closed out the game to secure the victory
