New York, NY| The St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) softball team earned three Skyline Softball All-Conference honors when the conference released its end-of-season awards on Monday afternoon.
Senior Antonia Busa was named to the first and second team and junior Jackie Flannery landed on the second-team.
Busa, a four-time All-Conference selection, finished the season leading the Golden Eagles and placing eighth in the conference hitting .425 with a .588 slugging percentage. The senior posted 34 hits with 11 doubles and one triple. She finished second on the team with 23 runs scored and fifth on the team with 14 RBIs.
Flannery placed third on the team and 11th in the conference with a .404 batting average, while leading the Golden Eagles and placed eighth in the Skyline with 44 hits. The outfielder leads the team and placed seventh in the conference with 29 runs, and recorded 15 RBIs, and was a perfect 14-for-14 in stolen bases.
St. Joseph's finished the regular season at 11-20 overall with a 7-11 record in Skyline action. The Golden Eagles will return in the spring 2027 season.
