The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) women's basketball team improves to 5-0 on the season with a 73-50 win over Baruch College in a non-conference match-up at the Danzi Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles took an early 5-2 lead in the game's first two and a half minutes, with Kelly and Barone making baskets early on

After the Bearcats tied the game at five, the hosts went ahead 12-6 on a three for Sierra at the 5:07 mark in the first

St. Joseph's took a nine-point lead on a Spina layup to go ahead 17-8 with 1:06 remaining before the hosts finished the first frame ahead 17-10

The Golden Eagles continued that momentum to begin the second quarter, with Kelly scoring three of the team's first five points of the quarter to go ahead by 12 (22-10) at the 8:38 mark
