The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) women's lacrosse team picked up their first win of the 2024 season when they took down Centenary University 20-3 on Saturday afternoon.

Four different Golden Eagles scored within the first eight minutes of play taking a 4-0 lead before the Cyclones got on the board at the 6:55 mark

Goals from Julianna Gentile and Brooke Zecchini closed out the first quarter with St. Joseph's ahead 6-1

SJLI quickly added to their lead scoring twice within the first minute of play in the second frame, 8-1, and went to shut the hosts out of the quarter taking a commanding 14-1 lead into halftime

The Golden Eagles started the third with four straight goals, three from Doyle, before the Cyclones managed to record back-to-back goals to wrap up the quarter, 18-3

Trowbridge netted a pair of goals in the fourth quarter bringing the game to its final 20-3
