How it happened:

• Busa and Emily Fenezia got on base in the top half of the first inning, as Salvatto drove in one run to score on a groundout, followed by a Kiernan single that drove in another run to score to take a 2-0 lead
• The Golden Eagles continued their offensive output in the second inning, producing three runs on two hits, highlighted by a Julia Ruocchio triple to right field, allowing Gabriella Vacchio to score
• SJLI compiled a big third inning, producing six runs across six hits as Labarba hit a two-RBI single up the middle, which led to a Salvatto two-RBI double to left field as St. Joseph's secured an 11-1 game-one victory

• Labarba led the Golden Eagles with three hits on five appearances at the plate, totaling three runs scored and five RBIs
• Fenezia finished with three hits, three runs scored, and two RBIs
• Busa secured two hits,  two runs scored, and two RBIs
• Freshman Jackie Flannery went 2-3 at the plate and scored three runs 
• Katie Straub led Purchase, going 2-2 in the game with two RBIs

How it happened:

• As the game remained scoreless through the first two innings, St. Joseph's finally broke through in the third, grabbing four runs on five hits as Flannery scored on an error that led to a Busa RBI double to center field 
• The Golden Eagles would see their most considerable scoring output of the two games in the fourth inning, compiling 10 runs on nine hits as a Labarba two-RBI triple to right field started the scoring run; a Ruocchio two-RBI double to left-center followed by a Fenzia two-RBI triple to right field solidified the inning, taking a 14-0 advantage 
• The Panthers got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth inning as Straub posted a two-RBI single to centerfield as Purchase accumulated three runs in the inning to cut the lead to 11 runs
• SJLI added two more runs in the top of the fifth inning as St. Joseph's solidified a game-two victory and completed the sweep over Purchase
