The teams exchanged goals to start the game, but then the Rams went on to score four straight taking a 5-1 lead with just under six minutes to play on the first quarter. Both sides scored twice in the closing minutes with FSC holding a 7-4 advantage going into the second

Trowbridge dished to Mimnaugh for the second time to start the second frame, but Farmingdale responded with three unanswered goals to double up on SJLI, 10-5
