• Sophomore Julia Stolba led the Golden Eagles with two goals, two assists, one groundball, and four draw controls

How it happened:

• Ippolito opened the scoring column for both teams, seven minutes into the game, off the pass from Doyle; Before Maritime outscored St. Joseph's 4-1 the remainder of the quarter
• As the Privateers entered the second quarter with a two-goal advantage, they would add to their lead by scoring the first two goals of the quarter; A man-up goal from Stolba ended SJLI's scoring drought to cut the deficit to three (6-3) with 5:15 left in the half
• Another man-up goal from Madison Mattera cut the Maritime lead to just two before both teams traded goals to end the half, as the first half ended with a score of 8-5 in favor of Maritime
• Gianna D'Arenzio opened the second half, finding the back of the net just three minutes into the third quarter, as Doyle scored her second of the game eight minutes later to bring the Privateers' lead to just one (8-7) with 4:14 left 
• Maritime would score their only goal of the third quarter with just one minute remaining to capture a two-goal lead heading into the final frame
• Stolba would control the draw and score a goal in the first 11 seconds of the fourth quarter to again cut the deficit to just one 
• The Privateers would hold the Golden Eagles off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game as they collected two more goals of their own to secure an 11-8 victory
