Luke MacPherson and Head Coach
Bill Kropp of the St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's volleyball team claimed top honors when the Skyline Conference released its end-of-season men's volleyball awards on Tuesday afternoon. MacPherson was dubbed Player of the Year, with Kropp named Co-Coach of the Year.

MacPherson, an All-Conference honoree for the second time in his career, earned Player of the Year honors on the back of one of his most impressive seasons for the Golden Eagles. The Skyline Player of the Week appeared in 67 sets across 23 matches and leads the team with 207 kills, hitting a .296%, averaging 3.09 kills per set per set, both suitable for top 10 finishes in the conference. The outside hitter led the team, averaging 1.87 digs per set, while second on the team in total digs with 125. The Ronkonkoma, NY native added a team-high 29 service aces, with 27 total blocks, and 15 assists.

Kropp earns his sixth Coach of the Year recognition after leading the Golden Eagles to an 18-0 Skyline Conference record and clinching the one seed in the Skyline Conference Tournament.

Anderson has appeared in 72 sets across 26 matches played, ranks fifth in the Skyline with 46 total blocks, and sits among conference leaders with 143 kills, averaging 1.99 kills per set and a .240 hitting percentage. The graduate student led the team with 131 digs, averaging 1.82 digs per set, adding 16 service aces, and nine assists.
In his first season with the Golden Eagles, Kropp appeared in 74 sets across 27 matches. The setter led the team and was fourth in the conference with 689 assists, averaging 9.31 assists per set. The graduate student ended in the top five on the team in blocks (33), digs (79), and service aces (15). The Manorville, NY native also contributed 34 kills on the season.

Foglia played in 72 sets over 26 matches and currently ranks ninth in the nation, averaging 1.09 blocks per set, finishing with 79 total blocks, 67 block assists, and 12 block solos. The middle blocker currently leads the Skyline and is in the top 20 in the nation, hitting .407% in the season. The Skyline All-Conference member has totaled 147 kills, good for second on the team and top 10 in the conference, averaging 2.04 kills per set. The Remsenburg, NY native tallied three assists and 15 digs.

Top-seeded St. Joseph's will host the winner of the fourth-seeded Manhattanville and fifth-seeded Purchase College in the Skyline Conference Semifinal match on Thursday, April 10, start time TBA.Â
