The third-seeded St. Joseph's University-New York (L.I.) women's volleyball team swept sixth-seeded Mt. St. Mary College in the first round of the Skyline Conference Championship Tournament on Tuesday night.

The Knights were plagued by attack errors to start the match putting the Golden Eagles ahead 5-1. MSMC inched to within two, 8-6, but the hosts didn't falter building a seven-point lead on several occasions before winning the set 25-19

Set two saw both teams knotted at seven before a 4-0 run gave SJLI an 11-7 lead that they would hold on two for a 25-18 win. Wolf finished with seven kills in the set with her last one clinching the win as well as being the 1,000th of her career

The Golden Eagles completed the sweep with a 25-20 victory in set three. Wold finished with six kills with freshman Isabella Juliano and Vanderhoof adding three kills apiece.
