How it happened:
- The Blue Jays were able to take command of the game early as they scored four unanswered goals in the first quarter
- As the University of Saint Joseph scored two more goals to extend the unanswered streak to six, the Golden Eagles' Allen provided the first goal for SJLI at the midway point of the second quarter
- Stubba was able to add one more goal in the half for SJLI as the USJ took a 7-2 lead into halftime
- Just three minutes into action in the second half, the Blue Jays added two more goals to their lead before Stubba netted another goal off the pass from Carere to cut the lead to 9-3
- In the early moments of the fourth quarter, the Blue Jays added two more goals before Owenburg scored the Golden Eagles' final goal of the game as the University of Saint Joseph secured a victory
