Senior Jamie Trowbridge of the St. Joseph's University (L.I.) women's lacrosse team recorded her 100th career goal in a 17-15 Skyline Conference win at Manhattanville University on Tuesday evening

Top performers:

• Trowbridge led the Golden Eagles with six points on a game-high five goals and an assist while adding five caused turnovers, four ground balls, and a team-best five draw controls

• Junior Emily O'Mara totaled four goals and finished with three ground balls

• Freshmen Sabrina Doyle and Julia Stolba provided two goals apiece

• Senior Emma Lange recorded a goal and an assist and finished with five ground balls, four caused turnovers, and four draw controls

How it happened:

• Manhattanville started the game with five unanswered goals before Trowbridge dished to Doyle midway through the first quarter

• The Golden Eagles went on to outscore the Valiants 3-1 in the final eight minutes of the frame and trailed 6-4 going into the second

• After the Valiants got a quick goal to start the second quarter, back-to-back goals from Trowbridge inched SJLI to within one, 7-6

• Goals from O'Mara and Julianna Gentile closed out the half with the Golden Eagles holding a slight 8-7 lead

• The teams traded goals throughout most of the third quarter until the Golden Eagles scored three times in the final four minutes to take a 15-11 lead into the final frame

• Manhattanville scored first in the fourth, but Stolba quickly responded with a goal just over a minute later

• Back-to-back goals from the Valiants put the hosts within two, 16-14, but Trowbridge scored her fifth goal with 2:31 on the clock providing a bit of breathing room, 17-14

• Manhattanville managed a man-up goal in the final seconds, but the Golden Eagles held on for the 17-15 win

Notes:

• SJLI goalie Maggie Harding got the win with eight saves while her counterpart Jacee Russello finished with five

• Manhattanville out shot St. Joseph's 38-35

• The Golden Eagles collected 27 ground balls with the Valiants finishing with 29

• SJLI was 19-for-25 on clears while MU went 16-for-19
