How it happened:

• Owenburg put the Golden Eagles early, scoring the first goal of the game just 15 seconds, as JD Campisi found the senior at the top of the box who found the back of the net
• Farmingdale responded by scoring 14 straight in the opening quarter to take a 14-1 lead into the second quarter
• The Rams continued their scoring output in the second, as FSC added four goals to take their scoring streak to 18 with three minutes to go in the first half
• St. Joseph's finally put an end to the goal streak for Farmingdale when Carere was able to get into the front of the net to put it away before the first half came to a close with FSC ahead 18-2
• In the second half, the Rams again added to their lead, scoring three goals as they held SJLI scoreless as the game entered the final quarter with FSC ahead 21-2
• FSC scored the first goal in the fourth quarter with seven minutes left to play; just two minutes later, Carere secured the Golden Eagles' final goal of the game as the Rams secured the victory
