The St. Joseph's University (L.I.) women's lacrosse team wrapped up the regular season with a 26-15 Skyline Conference loss to Farmingdale State College at Danzi Stadium on Friday evening.

Top performers:

• Senior Kayleigh Mimnaugh totaled a season-high seven points on four goals and three assists

• Senior Emma Lange added four goals, an assist, and a team-high six draw controls

• Senior Emily O'Mara finished with two goals and a ground ball

How it happened:

• The Golden Eagles scored first on a goal from Emily O'Mara. Back-to-back goals from Farmingdale followed before O'Mara found the back of the net for a second time.

• Both sides traded goals before Olivia Cassese scored with just seven seconds for a 6-5 FSC lead after the first quarter

• Mimnaugh dished to Kaitlyn Ippolito just 18 seconds into the second frame to even things at 6-6

• Seven unanswered Farmingdale goals followed putting the Rams ahead 13-6 with just over three minutes left in the half

• Two goals from the Golden Eagles came in the final minutes with the hosts still trailing 13-8 at halftime

• Five straight Farmingdale goals started the third quarter before Sabrina Doyle found Mimnaugh for her third goal of the game, 18-9

• The teams traded goals through the later portion of the third with Rams leading 21-13 

• The Golden Eagles were outscored 5-2 in the fourth quarter for a 26-15 final score

Notes:

• SJLI goalie Maggie Harding took the loss with six saves while her counterpart Giavanna Stamatelo finished with nine

• Farmingdale out shot St. Joseph's 42-33

• The Golden Eagles collected 21 ground balls with the Rams finishing with 19

• The visitors held a 27-16 draw control advantage
