New York, NY| Senior Alec Tabada of the St. Joseph's University (L.I.) men's basketball team was named First-Team All-Conference as the Skyline released its end-of-the-season awards on Tuesday afternoon.

 Tabada helped guide the Golden Eagles this season, with a team-best 367 points while averaging 16.0 points per game for eighth in the conference. The forward lands third on the team in total rebounds with 120 averaging 5.2 rebounds per game. The North Babylon, NY native leads the Skyline with a field goal percentage of 47.4%. Strong on the defensive end as well leading the team with 27 blocks and 26 steals.

The senior started the year with his season-best 33 points shooting 73.3% (11-for-15) from the field. He went on to record double-digit points 18 times while scoring 20+ points on five occasions.

Tabada and the #5-seeded Golden Eagles travel to face #4-seeded SUNY Maritime in the Skyline Conference Quarterfinal on Tuesday, February 25th at 7:00 pm.
