How it happened:

• Rosemont jumped out to an early three-goal lead before Allen got SJLI on the scoreboard for their first goal of the game with 8:17 to play in the first quarter
• The Ravens responded to Allen's goal by rattling off another three goals to take a 6-1 lead before Allen netted his second of the game in the first quarter with just  three seconds left
• Herrera provided St. Joseph's with the first two goals of the second quarter as they cut the deficit to just two (6-4) just two minutes into acting in the second quarter
• Rosemont outscored St. Joseph's 4-1 in the remaining 13 minutes of action in the first half as both teams entered halftime with the score 10-5 in favor of Rosemont
• The Ravens scored the first two goals of the second half before Herrera ended SJLI's scoring drought with back-to-back goals to make it a five-goal game again (12-7) with 4:18 to play in the third quarter
• The Ravens again went on a 5-1 scoring run to end the third quarter, with Allen netting the only Golden Eagles go during that stretch as the quarter came to an end with Rosemont up by nine (17-8)
• St. Joseph's would be held scoreless in the final quarter as Rosemont found the back of the net three times to secure a 20-8 victory
