How it happened:

• After eight minutes of action, the Golden Eagles found the scoreboard first when Stubba found an open Cioffi, who was able to find the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead
• Cobleskill answered back, scoring the following two goals to go up one with 1:39 left in the first quarter before Henderson netted his only goal to tie the game with just 21 seconds remaining
• The Tigers would score the first three goals of the second quarter, pulling ahead by three (5-2) as Stubba ended the scoring run with a goal of his own, followed by Cioffi finding the back of the net just a minute later
• Again, Cobleskill responded, netting an additional two goals as they held a 7-4 lead with just 6:31 remaining in the first half
• The Golden Eagles would score three unanswered goals in the final five minutes of play in the first half, with Allen scoring one and Herrera scoring two, the final of which found the back of the net with just four seconds left, tying the game at seven
• The first eight minutes of the second half saw both teams trade goals as each found the back of the net twice to keep the game tied at nine with 6:55 to play in the third quarter
• SJLI would go on to score three unanswered goals with Allen, Herrera, and Cioffi all finding the back of the net before the Tigers' Sippio added one for Cobleskill to make it a 12-10 score in favor of the Golden Eagles entering the fourth quarter
• St. Joseph's was able to keep Cobleskill off the scoreboard for the entire fourth quarter as Allen and Cioffi each collected a goal in the final 15 minutes to help secure the Golden Eagles' victory
