How it happened:

• Stockton jumped out to an early three-goal lead before SJLI found the back of the net for their first goal as Ippolito found Doyle open in front of the net
• The Ospreys responded by scoring another three unanswered goals as Stockton held a five-goal advantage (6-1) with 8:20 left in the second quarter
• The Golden Eagles outscored the opposition 2-1 in the final eight minutes of the first half, with Mattera and Doyle each netting one as halftime started with Stockton ahead 7-3
• Doyle scored the first goal of the second half off the pass from Lange, leading to Stockton scoring seven unanswered goals to take a 14-4 lead with 4:53 left in the third quarter
• SJLI found the back of the net with just under a minute to play before Stockton answered back with just 15 seconds left in the third quarter to take a 10-goal lead again
• St. Joseph's was held off the scoreboard in the final quarter as the Ospreys scored five goals in the final 15 minutes of play to capture a 20-5 victory
