• The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early two-goal lead as Cioffi scored a man-up goal six minutes into play before Stubba found the back of the net just two minutes later
• The Falcons tied the game to end the first quarter on back-to-back goals from Brikes
• Albertus Magnus scored the first goal of the second quarter to take their first lead of the game as Brikes recorded his third goal of the game
• Stubba tied the game up at three on a man-up opportunity with 8:14 left in the first half before Brikes scored with 38 seconds left to give the Falcons the lead to end the first half 
• Both teams traded goals to start the third quarter as the Falcons held on to a one-goal lead with 11 left
• Stubba tied the game at five with 4:26 on the clock before Allen collected a ground ball and beat the keeper to secure the lead for St. Joseph's to end the quarter, 6-5
